I know, we’re practically buying next years gifts already… but that doesn’t make this outfit any less adorable… This year Christmas was really a perfect kind of day- sunny and in the sixties in good ol’ Nashville, TN.
I wore a gifted sweater from my sister- a thrifted satin dress and thrifted belt, plus my grandmother’s vintage brooch and a flower I stole from the decor. 😉
The nails were sparkly- of course…
…and later on in the day I topped things off with my DIY Christmas Flower Crown.
My family was across the country…
But I was surrounded by wonderful friends…
…and some really mind blowing Organic, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Non-GMO food- literally one of the best meals I’ve had on Christmas. It’s amazing how much flavor food has when it’s not modified, sprayed or altered.
I was beyond delighted to keep my Family’s Christmas movie tradition intact by going, with my good friend to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I’d been wanting to see this movie since the first preview and it certainly did not disappoint. It’s the kind of movie that is done so beautifully, so subtly, with such a beautiful transition between fantasy and reality. I was definitively inspired- it’s the sort of movie that makes you want to go out and do something to change your life- which is what I consider to be the hallmark of a great film.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday filled with love and creativity- it’s not too far away yet that the memories haven’t faded. 🙂 I’m certainly looking forward to what this New Year has to offer. More to come!
